Last weekend, Holman had the pleasure of speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of about 50 members and guests of the Jane Austen Society of North America – Vancouver Chapter. With the upcoming release of Cozy Classics: Emma, it was the perfect time to speak to a group of die-hard Jane-ites! Holman presented for 90 minutes, discussing the origins of the series, their needle-felting techniques, and the media controversy which has arisen with respect to the new trend of “literature for babies”. The audience had questions galore, and it was a wonderfully interactive session. After the presentation, Holman took time out to sign a few books, and also enjoyed a potluck lunch with the Jane-ites.
